State of the Union Bingo

I found out about the State of the Union Bingo while watching the local news a few days ago (Action News/ABC/Channel 6/Don Polec's World), and plan on having Shayna play it tonight while watching President Bush's State of the Union speech.

The "game" was devised by the National Constitution Center right here in Philadelphia (we visited it last spring), and while it is meant for middle and high school aged kids, I think it can also be a great educational tool for younger kids.

How it works:

You go onto thier website (link below) and then download and print out the "Bingo Card." In the card in the spaces where you put the chips, are topics that the President may mention and/or talk about during his speech. Topics such as: Iraq, Homeland Security, etc.
