Just another afternoon...

I decided to get some fresh air and relax outside this afternoon, as it has been too overcast to swim in the pool, and also its been so rough at the ocean plus we have all been sick lately, so needed some good fresh air. I told skyler I was just sitting on the chair and not swimming, as it was too windy/cloudy, and he ran and put on his swim suit and flip flops and joined me outside anyway. I brought out his Halloween coloring book and crayons so he had something to do, as lounging by the pool and reading a good book does not go for a 3 year old. I thought this isn't quite the bad back drop for an afternoon coloring at the backyard table, wit the tropical foliage and canal in the background:

we also brought out turtle for a pool swim, which he direly needed. he didn't get out last week:

as you can see, turtle didn't mind the colder than usual conditions.
