Phonics Enrichment

Every Tuesday Skyler goes to a phonics enrichment after his regular preschool class ends, from 1:45pm-2:30pm. The learn a new letter each week in order. This week they did letter F. They do a worksheet for each letter, which also has them practice writing. I asked his teacher for extras and each week she sends home extra copies so he can practice at home. he has been doing well, practicing his writing. After they finish all the letters later in the school year, she will start again teaching the letter sounds. Not many kids signed up, so there are only about 3-4 kids with one teacher.

Just yesterday Skyler started connecting the letter with the beginning of words. if you ask him to name a word beginning with the letter __, he can give you a word beginning with that letter.
