Making Cupcakes

we have a tradition of making cupcakes for July 4th, so this year in the new house was no exception. Here is Skyler mixing the batter in the breakfast bar area of the kitchen. You can see the family room behind him and Shayna. Skyler frosting a cupcake:

After this, it was time for an afternoon swim, then waiting out the rain and thunderstorms hoping they would dissipate in time for fireworks (we planned to go to Deerfield Beach), then getting skyler's raincoat (shayna's old one) and shayna's rain poncho (the one grandma got here, it came in handy and since it is red goes with the 4th colors).
