2 year old check up
Skyler had his 2 yo check up today. We saw a new doctor (same practice), Dr. Rudman. She was very nice.
His stats:
Height: 35"
Weight: 30 lbs.
Just for comparison, Shayna at 3 weighed 26 1/4 lbs. and was 33 7/8" tall; when she was 4 she was 29 lbs. and 36 1/4" tall.
They recommended early intervention for his speech. He says 10 words- should be 50 and 2 word sentences. he doesn't get extra credit for knowing A,O,L and E and knowing a lot of the alphabet.

Great progress! But I wouldn't tell Shayna that Skyler is bigger or heavier than her. That might make her feel inferior. Each child is different and there is nothing wrong with being smaller. Remember how Michael was small and then suddenly got big in college. Shayna is a wonderful girl. Of course, so is Skyler.
