We survived the 1st Day of School!
Here are some highlights of Shayna's 1st day of 3rd grade today:
1. Bounced on beam at recess while heavy boys pushed and Cassidy said "Choo choo!"
2. Made birthday birds
3. Did silly dance in music special
4. Surprised Steven at recess (Steven, 2nd gr., went to the same private school as Shayna last year and they both rode the van)
5. I thought Shayna had a lot of homework but it turned out only one sheet was for her and all the rest was for ME.

Is that the balance beam from gymnastics? What an exciting first day of school!

Its the beam on the playground. I think its next to the ladybug. she was at recess, not gymnastics.
