Skylers first day of school

Skyler had his first day of school today at Discovery Preschool:


Skyler is in the Elmo room. Here he is walking to his room. There is a big courtyard in the middle of all the rooms with a few playgrounds and bikes. They also have a gym and media room.


Here he is looking for his name on one of the apples. those triangle shaped holes in the window are "peek-a-boo" holes for the parents to peek into the room and see what they are doing without the kids knowing they are looking in.

Inside the classroom. The little Elmo's on the table are for the kids to pick out thier name, and then place it on the attendance board by the door.

Skyler goes 3 days a week from 9am-1:20pm. It works out since I can drop off Shayna at 7:45am, and go back and get Skyler ready and drop him off around 8:45 or 8:50am. In the afternoon I pick up Skyler first and 1:20pm, and then go right to Del Prado and get in the car line (depending on traffic maybe 1:30 or 1:40pm). Del Prado gets out around 2 or 2:05.

Skyler had his open house on Tuesday Aug. 21st at 6:30pm so we could meet his teachers, see the classroom, and meet the other kids.
