Morada Bay in Islamorada

We enjoyed watching the beautiful sunset at Morada Bay restaurant near our hotel in Islamorada. We went here in November when we went to the Keys on vacation, and I loved it so much I made sure to schedule it into this trip. We went purposely on Thursday night (rather than Tuesday) since they have live music. It doesn't get better than this, 2 extremely talented guys and every song is good, and its very laid back Keys style, lots of Jimmy Buffet, Paul Simon, John Lennon, Pink Floyd, etc. you can't get a better atmosphere and view while being child friendly...can you tell I LOVE this place!

Here are Shayna and Skyler at the same photo spot I used last year (it made the holiday card). we had to wait because another family was posing, and it started to get a bit too dark, BUT the neat thing was that just as I was taking thier photo a dolphin swam by behind them! as soon as I took the photo we ran over to watch it glide gracefully through the water...and shayna also spotted a baby spotted sting ray in the water right below us. There are comfy adirondack chairs you can sit on to watch the sunset over the bay. after sunset they light up the tiki torches and there are chickees/tiki huts so its very tropical:
Behind Skyler are the restaurant tables IN the sand. once the kids finish eating they can play in the sand. This is before we got our table, Skyler playing in the sand, and he has a female admirer:
